Prawn Masala / Jhinga Masala

Preparation Steps:


  1. ​Heat some oil in a pan
  2. Add mustard seeds. 
  3. Once it crackle, add cumin, curry leaves, ginger garlic pate, onions and salt. Mix well. 
  4. Once the onions turn pinkish, add chopped tomatoes and half of the chopped cilantro. 
  5. Mix well until tomatoes are half cooked. 
  6. Add the dry spices - turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilly powder. 
  7. Mix well till the masala cooks well and the raw smell of all the spices are gone. 
  8. Add the washed prawns, mix well. 
  9. Cook for about 5 mins or until the prawns are well cooked. 
  10. You could add a dash of fresh cream and mix well. 

Prawn Masala is ready!
