Empty Tissue Box Project / 2.5 year old craft project / Painting activity

Items required:

Empty tissue box
Paint
Paint Brush
Cookie Cutter

Steps:

Provide the empty tissue box, paint, paint brush and cookie cutter to your kid.
Allow your kid to choose the color she wants and her desired shaped cookie cutter. This helps enhance their decision making capabilities.
Allow them to first paint on the empty tissue box on all sides. This helps them learn how to hold the box, how to paint the corners so it helps enhance their concentration, eye-hand coordination and its a great brain activity as well.
Using the cookie cutter, they can dip in the paint and make some prints on the colorful tissue box.
This activity really made my child happy and satisfied in the end.

Egg Carton Projects / Painting

My daughter loves to paint. So, inorder to keep my daughter (3yr 1 month old) engaged, I cut the egg carton into pieces and gave her. She selected the paint colors of her choice and started painting the egg carton. I could see she was enjoying every minute of this activity and she learnt to paint into the creases or the uneven surfaces of the carton.

I am planning use these colored bits into making some more projects. Will be posting them shortly.

Happy Valentine's Day - I Love You Daddy

Today my daughter is 3yrs and 1 month old.
This is the first greeting card my daughter made for her dad for Valentine's Day :)
We both had a great time making this Valentine's Day card and my daughter was super joyed and felt a great sense of proud achievement when she completed the card.
When she gave the card to her dad, the expression on her face and her dad's face was something I will cherish for the years to come.

Please keep your children engaged in such activities. It helps develop concentration, motor skills and helps children to feel the true meaning of happiness and pride and achievements. Thank you.

Kids love to help mothers while cooking. I had boiled potatoes and was mashing them. My daughter came to me and said "Mommy, mix mix pleas please please". I gave the bowl to her and she tried so hard mashing the potatoes. She didnt succeed fully but she tried her best and she was so happy. I admire her hard work, concentration and dedication.
This is an excellent task to help kids improve their motor skills and concentration.

Wooden Board puzzles for kids - Activity for kids

Solving board puzzles is such a wonderful activity for toddlers. My daughter just loves it. When she started, she struggled but within 3 days of using it, she could place the puzzles into their respective slots to a much much better extent.

This game provides a great deal of work to the brain because the kid has to decide which shape goes into which place, they have to move the puzzle pieces so it sits exactly inside the slot etc. Awesome game. I would highly recommend it to all kids.
